The cozy garden planner

Plan a garden that actually fits your yard

Planterium works in real dimensions. Draw beds at actual size and plant cultivars at their true spacing, then watch the season take shape around your frost dates.

Design

Sketch your yard to the inch

Draw raised beds, in-ground plots, troughs, and pots at their real sizes, then add a gravel path, a picket fence, or a greenhouse. When something looks wrong, grab it and move it. You never have to fill out a dialog to change your garden.

Real dimensions. An 8×4 bed is exactly 8×4, so spacing and capacity are computed for you.
Hands-on editing. Drag to move, rotate, or resize anything. Every change can be undone.
Fences, paths & structures. Six fence styles, five path surfaces, and structures from sheds to arbors, with Premium.

Walk it in 3D

See the garden before you build it

Switch to 3D and your plan becomes a scene you can walk through, with every bed, plant, and fence right where you placed it. Orbit the greenhouse, or check how much shade the corn will cast in August.

Edit in either view. Work in the flat plan or in 3D. Changes show up in both.
Sun & shadow simulation. Scrub through the day and the seasons to watch real shadows move.
Premium. The 3D view, the sun and shadow simulation, and the aerial backdrop are part of Premium.

Season Planner

The whole season on one page

The Season Planner charts every crop from sowing to harvest against your frost window. You can tell at a glance when a bed frees up for a second sowing and what will still be in the ground in October.

The Season Planner: every planting charted from sowing to harvest across the frost-free window

Plant

Plant the varieties you grow

The catalog holds over 1,800 real cultivars, from Golden Bantam corn to Genovese basil, each with its own spacing, sowing depth, and days to maturity. Drop one into a bed and the plan fills in the rest.

Spacing that means something. Every plant claims its real footprint, so overcrowding shows up on the plan before you sow.
Botanical artwork. Hand-tuned plant art in both views makes the plan a pleasure to look at all season.

And plenty more

From first sketch to final harvest

Tasks that write themselves

Every planting generates its own care schedule, from sowing through harvest. It all lands on the Today page, which accounts for your frost dates and the week's weather.

1,800+ cultivar catalog

Searchable varieties with germination, spacing, depth, and maturity data. Free accounts start with a set of classics; Premium unlocks the whole catalog.

Frost-aware planning

Set your location once and your frost window follows. Sowing windows and harvest projections are built on it, and so is the Season Planner.

True-to-scale editor

Works in feet and inches or in metric. If it fits on the screen, it will fit in the yard.

Sun & shadows

Simulate sunlight through the day and the year, or paint a sun-hours heatmap over the whole plan.

3D garden view

Walk through the garden before you build it. You can edit here too, and the plan keeps up.

Aerial backdrop

Put a satellite photo of your property under the plan so your layout matches the actual yard.

Trees

Plant shade and fruit trees with real canopies. They cast shade in the sun simulation too.

Fences, paths & structures

Frame the garden with six fence styles and five path surfaces, plus greenhouses, sheds, and arbors.

Planterium Premium

Premium adds the 3D view, sun and shadow simulation, aerial imagery, the full catalog, trees, structures, and as many gardens as you want to plan.
